At the client’s request, all existing walls and windows had to remain in place. A larger shower with a more secluded area for the toilet was important.
The floor plan was reconfigured. The existing free-standing tub was removed, and the shower and vanity were relocated. This allows for better flow, a larger shower, and additional storage. The tall knee wall built provides separation and subtle privacy by the toilet bidet combination area.
One of the most creative challenges was the window situated within the new shower. To ensure privacy from the adjacent neighbors while maintaining natural light, a frosted glass panel was the perfect solution.
Inspired by the wallpaper with a navy-blue palm frond and an alder natural wood vanity, the design set the tone of a resort.
The charcoal black tile floor paired with the arctic white tile shower complements the space. Polished nickel and matching wood elements added the finishing touches to this luxurious feel.
Now this family of three can enjoy their very own resort oasis!
